Right to Life: Lord David Alton

On Friday 13 October at 7. pm, at Our Lady and St Edwards parish centre, Fulwood, Preston, Lord David Alton will speak on the Right to Life, and the work amongst MPs and peers to get respect for human life at every vulnerable stage. Lord Alton will speak on securing a better political situation on life issues such as abortion, assisted suicide and embryo research. Please come along and help to defend against further liberalisation of laws on life issues.

The Right To Life Annual Sponsored Walk

"The Right To Life annual 8 mile sponsored walk in Clitheroe will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 29th May, setting of at approximately 1pm – and we very much hope that you will be able to accompany us. You are, however asked to be at the venue for 12.30 at the latest for the pre walk instructions and speeches.

 We are delighted that Archbishop Emeritus Patrick Kelly,Bishop John Arnold of Salford, and Lord David Alton of Liverpool will join us once again this year.

Feast of Our Lady of Fatima : Saturday 13th May

 On Saturday 13th May the Lancaster Deanery will celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. The format of the celebrations will be as follows: 11.00 Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, 12.15 Mass in the Cathedral, 13.00 Procession of Our Lady of Fatima, followed by refreshments in the Social Centre. Cor et Lumen Christi Community: Encounter 20-21 May

What would happen if we really gave ourselves to God's presence with deep expectation? 
How often do we make the space to ENCOUNTER Him?

You are invited  to our next weekend: 'ENCOUNTER'.

The weekend will include input to help us grow in expectation and hunger for the living God and opportunities to really soak in the divine presence by giving our time to Him in a variety of ways. 

We will be led by the Cor et Lumen Christi Community, St Cuthbert’s. Members of the community have a wide range of experience of bringing people into the tangible presence of God, including: Prayer Ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit, Ignatian Spirituality, Healing Ministry, Praise and Worship, Exhortational Preaching and Prophetic Ministry.
