Newman University- Birmingham

2018 is the year in which Newman University, Birmingham celebrates its 50th anniversary and throughout the year the university will be hosting a number of events for staff, students, alumni and members of the public.


The first event to kick start the year of celebrations is the Cathedrals Group Choirs Festival which is to be held at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on Saturday 24th February. Newman University will be hosting the 30th Annual Choirs Festival which will see performances from some of the country’s best university choirs.

Healing Signs & Wonders

Spring Conference for the North, 3 - 4 March 2018

The Healing Signs and Wonders conference celebrates that Jesus is alive and that the miracle healing, loving power of his Spirit is moving in his church today.

National Celebration of the YCW in England & Wales

The Young Christian Workers (YCW) will be celebrating their 80th year in England and Wales on 18th November 2017 from 4pm, with a Mass celebrated by the Rt. Rev. John Arnold, Bishop of Salford at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Evangelist in Salford, followed by a celebration in the Cathedral Assembly Room.
